Connecting our region’s eaters and farmers to grow a thriving local food community.

The Food Circle is a nonprofit organization who works to create food systems that deeply value local food and farmers. We inform and empower both eaters and farmers through education, collaboration and advocacy.

Our Members

Members of the KC Food Circle promote a sustainable regional food system in Kansas City by connecting eaters and institutions with farmers committed to growing and raising organic and sustainably grown food for their local community. The KC Food Circle includes a network of over 100 farmers, local food businesses and partners, all operating within a 120 mile radius of Kansas City. These farmers have pledged to meet high standards for growing plants and mushrooms, beekeeping, and raising animals. Local Food Business members have committed to sourcing from or supporting our growers, helping to keep your food dollars circulating in our local economy.
