Dirt Beast Farm

Dirt Beast Farm was created to feed the “dirt beasts” – those critters churning the soil below our feet – as well as the creatures who reside above ground: people, plants, and animals.

Our farm is an intensive-production market farm located on 1.5 acres in the heart of KCMO with a ¼ acre native wildlife habitat and a grab bag of other neighborhood services. We focus on making the most out of our little slice of urban land by growing over 10,000 pounds of produce on our ¾ acre of cultivated soil, without tilling or synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.

Moving into 2026 we are also training the next generation of farmers through our Market Farmer Internship Program, ensuring that those who leave our farm have the necessary knowledge and skills to create their own profitable small farm one day.
