KCK Farmers Market

The KCK Farmers Market is one of only four farmers markets in all of Wyandotte County. We bring high quality, local food to Wyandotte neighborhoods that either lack access to grocery stores or have populations of high need. We make nutritious food more affordable for SNAP recipients and low-income seniors, who make up the majority of our market customers.

We aim to…

• Increase access to nutritious locally grown food through food assistance education, promotion of farmers and nutrition education.
• Provide food assistance benefits to lowest income populations (we are currently the highest redeemers of food assistance benefits in the entire metro area).
• Stimulate the local economy by providing support for growers and entrepreneurs to sell their products in a stable, high-traffic, market with income-based booth rates and multilingual business management resources.
• Partner with organizations and businesses to create inclusive multicultural programming through neighborhood engagement opportunities.
