Come for the Sips, Stay for the Local Food
The Food Circle is back at Transport Brewery in Shawnee and this year we’re celebrating local food, farmers and farm shares.
This is a FREE event and everyone is welcome! Wether you already love farm shares, are curious about trying one, or simply want to spend an evening supporting local farms and The Food Circle, we’d love to see you there. Please RSVP so we know how many people to plan for!
We’ve teamed up with Rolling Prairie Farmers Alliance to give you a low-commitment and convenient way to test out a farm share a.k.a – a collection of Rolling Prairie’s delicious and locally grown fruits and veggies.
Here’s how it works:
- Reserve a one-time farm share for just $40 when you RSVP for Sips & Shares.
- Your share will conveniently be waiting for you to pick it up at the event, and you’ll get to choose the produce you’d like to take home.
- With your purchase, you’ll also receive an exclusive Rolling Prairie members only canvas tote!
- You’ll also have the opportunity to further support our work connecting more people with local farmers, food and resources through an optional donation to The Food Circle when you RSVP.

Want to keep the local food coming? All attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for the remaining six weeks of Rolling Prairie’s weekly farm share for this season, with no registration fee required (a $26 savings!). You can learn more about their weekly shares and pickup locations across the metro at the event.
But wait, there’s more! The Kansas City Food Hub will also be joining us to introduce their new Harvest Box, a workplace farm share featuring produce from 40+ small and mid-sized family farms across the KC region. Local goods delivered straight to the office? Yes, please!
Come grab a drink, meet local food folks, learn about farm shares and take home a bag of local goodness!
