Claire Sinovic is a local food systems expert with 15 years combined experience in program management, community engagement, and content creation for nonprofits and businesses focused on food literacy, nutrition, and youth development. A garden educator, food policy advocate, and former Certified Nutritional Health Coach, Claire brings a holistic approach to building healthier communities through connecting folks to local food.
Since 2017, Claire has served on the Johnson County Food Policy Council, leading the council as Chair from 2020 to 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts focused in Psychology and Childhood Development from Washburn University.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time in the garden with her two sons, taking family walks, and getting lost in a good book.
