Thank you to everyone who joined The Food Circle at our 2026 Eat Local & Organic Expo! We’re incredibly grateful you took the time to be part of this special event celebrating local food, farmers, and community.
The day welcomed 1,000 guests and because of you, the Expo was full of energy, connection, and support for the people who grow and produce food right here in our region. From meeting farmers and local food businesses to discovering new ways to eat and grow local, we hope you left feeling inspired and connected to your food system.
Help us make next year’s event even better by taking this quick survey. Your feedback helps us improve and allows The Food Circle to secure funding and resources for farmers, local businesses and eaters like you.
Find local food beyond the Expo.
This event is just one part of our work at The Food Circle. We’re here year-round to help you find and support local farms and food businesses through our Eat Local Map, Member Directory, Local Food Newsletter and other community events. Each of these resources is aimed at keeping food dollars in our local economy, empowering eaters and ensuring farmers have the visibility and support they need to thrive.
If you enjoyed the Expo, here are a few other ways to stay involved with The Food Circle:
- Continue to shop local with your favorite vendors from the Expo or any of our other KC Food Circle members
- Participate in CSA
- Share your experience and favorite vendors on social media and with friends and family. Be sure to tag @the.food.circle
- Consider becoming a Friend of The Food Circle to support this work year-round
If you missed us this time or just want to relive the day, please check out this awesome reel by local KC digital creator, @its.casey.irl. She gave a wonderful summary of the event and The Food Circle’s mission. If you’re not following her yet, we highly encourage you to do so! She covers local happenings around KC with thoughtful, fun and authentic content!
Thank you all again for being part of this growing local food community 💚 🌱
With much thanks and gratitude,
Claire & Rachael
